- Elizabeth "Christy" Paske, age 74, of Mount Horeb, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 14, 2003, at her home. She was born on June 19, 1928, in Dane County, Wis., to Edwin and Svenine Christianson. She worked at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for 20 years before retiring. She married Russell R. Paske on Aug. 6, 1949. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, the love of her life. She also loved her flowers, birds and bowling. Christy was a loving, giving, kindhearted person who always would go out of her way to help anyone. Christy loved having fun with family and friends. She was a member of Springdale Lutheran Church and of its WELCA. Survivors include her husband, Russell; her children, Rick (Denise) Paske of Lodi, Jeff (Robin) Paske of Mount Horeb, Greg Paske at home, and Randy (Cindy) Paske of Prairie du Sac; five grandchildren, Heather, Briana, Adrienne, Corey and Cody; two sisters, Olga (Donald) Johnson of DeForest, and Ellen Haug of Sun Prairie; three brothers, Erling Christianson of Madison, Selmer (Delores) Christianson of Mount Horeb, and David (Eunice) Christianson of Middleton; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jim Christianson. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2003, at SPRINGDALE LUTHERAN CHURCH, Mount Horeb, with the Rev. Jeffrey Jacobs officiating. [2]
